KW Autos

Fine Classic and Racing Cars since 1978

Klaus Werner

Klaus developed his passion for cars at a very young age. Hence it was a logical step for him to found KW Autos when he was 28 after having worked at his father’s company for several years.

In the early stages of the business Klaus mostly concentrated on building his experience with German classic cars and British racing cars from the 1950s and 1960s. He then quickly developed a great interest in pre war racing cars and mid 20th century Ferraris and Maseratis.

Klaus started vintage racing in the early 80s in a Jaguar D-Type and was a successful participant of the first, nowadays well-regarded events such as Goodwood Revival, Le Mans Classic or Monaco Historic Grand Prix. He took his pre war Alfa Romeos and his former Maserati 300S to several victories before quitting his amateur racing career a couple of years ago. Nowadays he enjoys meeting customers and other likely minded people at one of the excellent classic rally events throughout Europe, whilst cruising at a more relaxed pace.

Klaus is fluent in English and German and can advise you with his almost 40 years of knowledge of the vintage car business.
